On December 11th, the Wilson Center’s Maternal Health Initiative, World Vision, Inc., and JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. hosted an event titled Emerging Lessons from the DREAMS Innovation Challenge. Youth WorkForce Development Curriculum

Over the years, ACWICT has developed wide experience implementing successful workforce development programs that provide women and youth with Digital skills (Digital Literacy, Software Development/Coding & Networking; Vocational Trades; Online Work; Soft Skills; Financial literacy and Entrepreneurship skills. 

The ACWICT workforce development programs target women and youth at different levels of transition from education to the world of work including those with primary education, high-school education, and post-secondary/tertiary education.

ACWICT has developed tools, learning materials and resources, and networks that would, with minimal review support the implementation of women and youth employability programs.

Some of the tools and resources the organization has developed include training curriculum developed with flexibility to adapt to the labor market needs as well as training needs of young people at different levels of education; a robust job placements system that ensures that the young people, once trained are placed into jobs, internships and/or apprenticeships.
