ACWICT LEAD Series
The LEAD series is a Podcasting platform that looks to explore the world of Information & Communication Technology and its impact on improved Livelihood, Education, Advocacy, and socio-economic Development.
Overview
This concept was developed through the lens o4 ACWICTs experience and work as an ICT4D organization that spans over 20 years and has reached over 400,000 women and youth Nationally.
This gives us a unique point of view to be able to share our stories and at the same time provide partners, industry experts, professionals, and our program alumni a similar space to be able to speak to the positive impact ICT has had on their respective socio-economic activities as well as what the future hold for the next generation of women and youth looking to pursue a career in IT-related fields or STEM.
The series will also spend a significant period exploring our journey during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and how it shaped our implementation of programs, outlook, and integration of technology to be able to scale up our reach and impact the larger society and more importantly, the way forward as we recover from the challenges that came about during this very difficult period.
